This is a 2022 Ford Explorer with Police Interceptor package. Unlike most you see on eBay, this one has a center console installed and no external spotlights.
The vehicle runs well and is in good mechanical condition. It comes equipped with the 3.3 Ford V-6 Hybrid motor mated to a ten speed transmission. The motor produces 318 HP and 322 foot/lbs of torque, and the hybrid configuration provides 25-30 mpg on the highway, -a nice balance of performance and gas mileage. The motor, transmission, braking, and suspension are all beefed up for police use. There are a number of YouTube videos that explain the platform differences between the police and civilian versions of the Explorer.
Additionally, vehicle comes equipped with (4) Liquid Metal 18x8 rims with Michelin 225/60 18 X-Ice snow tires installed ($1,600 value), and if the buyer wants, I will include the original (4) police 18x8 steel rims and high-performance (2) Goodyear Eagle 255R18 and (2) 245R18 tires. Michelins have about 85% of their tread life left, and the Goodyears have about 30% of their tread life left. Both sets of rims can accommodate wider tires than are currently mounted.
With it's emphasis on performance and utilitarianism, this vehicle is not really a "chick car". The target demographic would likely be a guy that commutes in an urban environment and wants a vehicle with people/cargo space that looks nice, but also one that you won't get worked up over if it gets a parking lot ding or gets hit by a water bottle during a demonstration. A vehicle that accelerates, handles well, stops quickly, while getting good gas mileage.
